Citrate Esters

Citrate Esters are used as plasticisers with polylactic acid (PLA). A citrate is a derivative of citric acid, i.e., the salts, esters, and the polyatomic anion found in solution. For example, a salt is trisodium citrate, while an ester is triethyl citrate.

Our range of citrate esters serve as biodegradable key ingredients of natural origin to a variety of industries all over the world.
